The London Skyline Remix for “Illusion” by Dua Lipa recorded for a remix contest run by SKIO Music has been made public.

Tamas said of the finished remix:

“It was a thrilling experience to be able to record an interpolation to a song this well-known. It is not an everyday opportunity for a producer well in the business, let alone for a fledging professional like me. In true London Skyline fashion I wanted to make it a big, open-sounding sweep of classical-infused music which turned out to flip the song’s meaning as it happens: Illusion turned into a somber, self-reflective piece from the flirty, upbeat original. I think I managed to shed some new light onto the song and am honoured to have worked on such a remix, regardless of my final position in the contest. This is also the first song where I could hone my mastering skills and pretty happy in general with the technical side of the entry, too.”
